Affiliates Program - Create Your Own Buttons

If you looked at the current set of buttons and didn't find what you were looking for, why not create your own? Here, you'll find all the information you will need to create the buttons you want for your website, blog, or email signature.

Before you start, please make sure to read the trademark policies and terms of service. There's some official-sounding language on this page and in those policies, but we just want to make sure that we're all working towards the same goal of spreading the word about Firefox.

Copies of the Firefox logo and logo guidelines may be found in the Spread Firefox materials section. We've also included a number of graphical layered files that you might find useful in creating your buttons. Once you download the files, please make sure you read the enclosed text file.

Download button graphic files here.

You may modify the buttons (change background color, button size, translate them to your own language), but you are not allowed to modify the trademarks (Firefox logo, for example) in any way. Thanks for your cooperation! Mozilla invites you to link to GetFirefox.com, including for the purpose of allowing your visitors to download the Mozilla Firefox Internet browser and Thunderbird e-mail client, by using the banners and buttons Mozilla provides subject to the program terms and conditions

This use is allowed as long as you:

  • Follow the Mozilla Trademark Policy.
  • Point the destination URL to the official Firefox website.
  • Don’t alter any of the Mozilla trademarks, including our logos.
  • Don't do anything that might confuse visitors to your website.

You may customize the buttons in the following ways:

  • Modify the background color of the button or banner.
  • Translate the text to a different language (but not the Firefox trademarks).
  • Change the size of the button or banner.

Remember the Mozilla trademarks must not be altered in any way. If your use of these banners or button violates our Trademark Policy, Mozilla reserves the right to rescind the license granted here. If you plan to use a Mozilla trademark as a site icon, you need to request permission.
