I'll get it started:
I'm Jay Patel, your Mozilla Campus Reps coordinator... and I work at Mozilla Corporation in Mountain View, CA! I've been working with Mozilla since it was a small project within Netscape back in 1999... and have watched our community grow and the browser evolve into the latest Firefox version we all use today! I've worked on crash analysis & reporting, general qa and tools development, project management, community leadership, and now marketing... so I've had a chance to wear many hats at Mozilla over the years. :-)
I work full-time, but also go to business school at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley... I'm in the evening program and should be done in 2010. So I'm a student like most of you! ;-)

Thank you for starting this thread, this is just like the introduction thread in the forum. Anyhow, Jack is here from New York, USA. I work in a web hosting company in New York. My all friends use the firefox and I also use the mozilla. This is the best browser than chrome and IE.
Hey Everyone
I was a bit busy for past few weeks so could not introduce my self, though I promoted Firefox in every possible way in my campus, i.e. Bits Pilani Goa Campus. Firefox 3.5+ was installed in more than 500 computer systems in the computer center of my institute, and almost all the users in the campus use Firefox on their personal computer systems. I have also been promoting the mobile edition of Firefox, to various group of users in past few weeks by organizing install fest and open software day.

Hi people...this here is Kshitj from Gujarat pursuing pharmacy course in Bangalore...inspite of being in another course which is not related to computers but still i m in all way affliated to computers and technology...I have been a firefox fan frm ages...and this platform in form of campus reps is gr8 for people like me who want to spread this speedy fox across the world...! i guess being in diff branch other than computers is a advantage that i can interact wit other people who dont knw much about technology so i can guide them to correct path...so mozilla can put its foot into branch other than computers which can be really beneficial in future run to expand its network which is already world wide and atlast become the leading browser...!!

Yes, I can't wait till I get started. I'm planning a couple of ways that Mozilla can get out there more in Australia. One idea is getting Telstra to offer support for Mozilla Firefox. As they currently only offer support for IE. Firefox as it can work on Windows and Mac it might be a good idea they do support it. xD I'll have to get writing a letter to the Customer Feedback / Satisfaction.

In recent days we had a seminar on new networking technologies promoting free source, we had a foot fall 0f around 800 students..!!! Which fueled us to promote free source and open source...!!! Today we have around 1000 registered member of our group which we started with 5 enthusiast and techno freaks.
We organize various similar events and also work for developing rural cyber education program in which Firefox can be the biggest boon...to promote technology!!!
Firefox helped me since first day i sat in front of my screen and started using internet...now Its time to repay..!!!

I'm Kalpa Pathum Welivitigoda from Galle, Sri Lanka. I'm an undergraduate in the Faculty of Engineering of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. This is my first year in the university. I hope to follow Computer Science and Engineering. I schooled at Richmond College, Galle. I've being using linux distributions scince 2006. I started with Ubuntu 5.10 and now I'm on Fedora 12 which is my primary operating system today. So Firefox being the default web browser in all these distributions, I've get used to use it and I'm highly satisfied with the performance and the security it provides. So I'ld like to spread the word firefox in the university and help this great product and the community.

The first thing which attracted me to firefox was the speed and the add ons. It is the fastest browser among all the browsers i have used and when I got to know about the Campus Reps program, I applied to join it immidiately.
