Affiliate points for other Mozilla sites
This idea was previously mentioned in some comments within this group, but I think it deserves its own discussion.
If this site's SpreadFirefox banners include banners for Thunderbird and "Spread Firefox Community Member" banners, shouldn't these banners link to a page for downloading Thunderbird to join SpreadFirefox? Many people have indicated that they want those banners sending visitors to more relevant pages, even if points are not awarded.
I know that Mozilla is considering other ideas for its incentive program beyond the current points-per-click system but I assume the points-per-click will still be maintained. Therefore, it would be nice to see the points system apply to several Mozilla sites, considering how many of us showed interest in this as well as the importance of such a service in fully utilizing the potential of our proposed dynamic banners.
Off the top of my head, we could certainly use a point system extended to the Thunderbird site and the SpreadFirefox site. I would figure some other projects such as SeaMonkey and Sunbird may be used as well. Does anyone have any additional recommendations or specific preferences?

Spreading thru Academic Center
I think its a wonderful idea to spread mozilla by the academic centres around the world.
What I think
The situation is really as follows:
On the Old-SFx we got points for the following (the ones I know at least):
- Sending people to the download Firefox page
- Sending people to the download Thunderbird page
- Anyone we referrer to the join SFx page and who signed up (10 points)
- Sending people to the Firefox Flicks site.
Unfortunately since the move ALL the old links now go to the download Firefox page only, except the "join SFx" link which still works and I am assuming we still get 10 points when we refer someone. There is a new affialiate link for Thunderbird on the New-SFx, but I could not find a replacement for Firefox Flicks.
My opinion is that we should also get points for the following:
- Sending people to other Mozilla product pages (Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Camino, Sunbird,...)
- Sending people to the Firefox Add-ons site, to stimulate Firefox retention.
- Sending people to any event that is being organized by Mozilla, such as competitions, shows.
- Otto - Fire up the Fox!
