where do we find out WHAT hour this download event starts?
Posted June 17th, 2008 by bill daulThis is the pits. I have looked all over the firefox site and not found what HOUR the downloads start. I notice messages that on the other side of the International Dateline they haven't come up with where and how to down load...what the frack is going on or not going on?
I want to know something
Posted May 5th, 2008 by NickyWill someone explain to me why all the effort to spread Firefox? I don't get it. Internet Explorer is a good browser even though Firefox is better, but it's not useless. And it's way ahead in market share, do we think we're going to topple the giant? IE is free, so that's not the angle. There's money in this for Mozilla somewhere, I know it. But why so much effort to kill the giant when it works?

Half a billion is great but...
Posted March 4th, 2008 by angrykeyboarderBetween what I've downloaded for myself (on numerous operating systems) plus what I've downloaded for others (Firefox evangelist that I am), I've probably responsible for 150 of those myself (and I go back to the late "Phoenix" days).
Half a billion is a great number, but the reality is, they can't track how many first time downloads there have been and that's the number that really matters.
