following the instructions for Netscape 9 migration I copied the files across. The bookmarks made it, but it seems I cannot add new ones either to Firefox or Netscape 9
On the log-in information (ID and passwords) I cannot figure out how to move those across
I was hoping to act as a Firefox advocate, but i need to resolve these difficulties first

I finally figured it all out. The instructions refer to profiles.ini but the display name is just profiles.
Also I had a problem with the message about Firefox running even after I un-installed it. Finally on the FAQ list I found the reference that Firefox puts a lock on the profile file and unless I exit correctly it looks to that file. Of course i still have not figured out which default file is the good one and how to get my name on one of the profiles. It will come eventually
With some experimenting i now have it running OK. Look and feel just like the Netscape 9, which i liked.
