Where the heck is the Community @ SFx?

Spread Firefox v2 provides great tools for the kind of community marketing efforts we're so famous for, compared to the first version. The thing is, where is everyone?

It seems like no one is saying hardly anything around here. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the lack of general purpose forums, or maybe just something to do with how the site is laid out. But compared to a year ago, this place is dead.

What do you think?

How come?

Hey I've been threw alot of schools for the past 3 to 4 weeks and i have not seen not one computer in the schools not using Firefox. I saw alot of them with spams and popups. I dont know why they are not using the Firefox program but I've seen alot of their computers crash up and wont run. Is there anyway we can help schools out there use Firefox as their web browser?

More difficult

I initially thought the new site was difficult to navigate, now I know my way, but I presume it's still difficult for any new user and anyone used to the old site.

On the old site it was immediately clear where the activity was, while here we just have 4 posts at the bottom of the site and you need to dig around more to find activity.

I think a few things need to be rethought.

I didn't so much have a problem navigating when I first tried this version, but I agree with you about not seeing activity. It's really cool to highlight important or exciting community projects on the front of the site, but we also really need to see an overview of recent activity, and it shouldn't be the last thing on the page.

I'm really happy about being able to check out a feed of my specific groups and such, since I don't have to visit the site and look around to see what's happening. However, that is not the way a lot of people will want to use this site. I'm not saying I have the solution, but there needs to be a way to get a quick view of what people are talking about across the entire site.
