Firefox Downloads

Netscape has become history and the competition is now between Firefox and Internet Explorer..... And recently Firefox has reached the 500 Million Mark.
Do you think in another span of 2 years Firefox will atleast be around 40% used all around the world??? What are your thoughts on the future of Firefox? What do you think will become of IE and other browsers like Opera etc????

I know for sure that Firefox has a good stand with users. As for IE, I believe there was a recent press release about certain "problems" IE 8 might have when it comes out in August, so that will pretty much give Firefox a big chance to permanently conquer IE. As for the other browsers, i.e. Netscape and Opera, none are as fast or secure as Firefox, and with a little improvement of Firefox's CSS compatibility and all that, it will, quite literally, be the best browser out there. Not to mention that Firefox wins over the free software supporters, considering it is completely open-source and "100% organic", as they call it.

Yeah definitely....Netscape lost its market because IE was provided with windows and then IE became famous leaving netscape in the swamps...
However Netscape is here to change that....users over the world are begining to realise that Internet Security is very Important with lots of Online Transactions taking place.

ie comes along with windows ,may b its the only reason that majority use ie,i think we should make them know the advantages of using Firefox,and majority of net users are not concerned about the security,we should may them understand whatssecurity ,and how its safe to use firefox with examples ,
