Cybercafe Promotional Materials
I really dig feldStar's idea about making kits. (His comment is here: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/node/410#comments) I wouldn't mind putting these together and taking care of costs to make these if it's not too much.
Let brainstorm what the kit should include and why.
I'd like it to include the following:
* Firefox Install CD - Obviously
* Decals announcing Firefox availability - Cybercafes can display in their window
* Ubuntu Install CD - Why not
I'm a designer so creating some decals or stickers should be no problem.
What other promotional materials would we like to give to cybercafes?

I have to admit that I JUST started using firefox a little under a week ago and it looks like i'm going to be a lifer on this one. Everything runs so smoothly and I really like the plugin features that it has.
The only downer is that there were a handful of pages that did not display correctly when I loaded them on firefox. When I switched it over to IE, it worked. I don't know how common compatability issues are, but it's certainly enough for me to worth mentioning. I'm sure it'll be fixed when Firefox dominates the browser world! Chris
I think you need some unique products, I don't know if promotional umbrellas would work here but what I want to say is that you can approach almost everything with the sole condition of catching attention. That's what I like about marketing, inspiration can make the difference.
I have also looked into the price of stickers.
It worked really well with our company.
We printed off just 200 and passed them out at a fair.
Revenue went up as well as interest in the company.
that would be good to purchase promotional items such as posters and Calc for the windows and CD's with certain other things
I don't know how many people are following this group, but hopefully there are still some people interested. Just letting everyone know that I've made it available to get a free cybercafe internet setup kit free from http://www.cozysidewalkcafe.com/internet-cafe-software.php I still haven't found a printer to print off window displays for a reasonable price. I talked to the Firefox store briefly, but that's really my only option right now if they'll do it. Anyway, tell me what you guys can do to help!
