Which feature of FF DONT you like?

Somewhere in the lifespan of a Mozilla user, he/she will come to a point where he/she will ask him/herself "Why did I download Firefox and why am I so impressed every damn time I open the browser?"

There could be thousands of explanations, but the best answer would simply be, it's a damn good browser!

So, back to the subject, I started thinking, there must be something wrong with it, mustn't there?

So, until I can find a reasonable problem with a feature I'm asking this question to everyone: "What feature of Firefox DONT you like?"

Not Much

I do not like the new Awesomebar of FF3 that much. But it is bearable. I must admit that it could have been a bit better thought out on what sites it will suggest from the most visited sites. It is disappointing that in the new FF3 there is still not a standard one click button to open a new tab. Users have to install an add-on to do the function. Other than that I am impressed with the functionality and speed of the new FF3

Don't like

My download manager plugin doesn't work with this version... I'm sure thry'll release a better update soon..

I know what I don't like about FF3...

The old firefox was great and I like FF3 too, but my download manager's plugin doesn't work on the new FF :-( I'm sure they'll update the plugin though....

so called "awesome" bar is not so much

I'm liking almost everything about FF3 except for the "awesome" bar. To be honest I can't stand it. I found an addon called "oldbar" that changes the gui to something acceptable but the real problem is still there. If I want bookmarks I'll look in my bookmarks. If I want my history I'll look in my history. When I want to use addresses I will type them in the address bar and I don't want 15 things from other areas popping up in it. Sadly I think it's a deal breaker for me. I'm going back to FF2 until FF3 gets a real address bar.

Ok, between " browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped" and oldbar I've got the address bar working like it should. Now I can happily stay with 3.

not so much indeed

I've changed it the same as you I think and it still sucks. When I've just visited a website and start typing the address again it will simply not know where it's just been. That's not awesome or smart, just plain stupid. But I'm happy that at least I was able to get rid of the ugly display. I don't know who tried to get his or her pet project pushed through on this one, I'm just amazed it didn't get shot down months ago..

My only peeve with FF (and

My only peeve with FF (and it's a small one), is that when I delete a bookmark, it closes the entire drop-down menu.

So when I sit down to cull the old and random links that I've saved, I have to keep clicking on "Bookmarks" to re-open the menu every time I get rid of one.

So true

Ha!, good point, that always annoys, as well. Not a big annoyance, but a fault none the less.

Hotmail

When I use the full version of Hotmail, and not the classic one, it will lag for about 10 seconds whenever i click on something. Its not my internet connection b/c i have (unfortunately) tried it in IE 8 beta, and it works there. Anyone else have this problem? It may be an attempt from Microsoft to stop us non-IE users. Either way, we need to fix this issue.

I would recommend you runnig

I would recommend you runnig the application on some platform other than windows, with firefox installed in it. And also, you should check this browser testing sites' list to know about dozens of places offering browser testing facility on large number of platforms.

Hey mate, What I would

Hey mate, What I would recommend you do is dump that gei e-mail msn and forward all your e-mail to Gmail.. It's faster user friendly and no Spam :)

Hope this is good advice, If not please send me the body bag over ;)

form auto-fill

Sometimes, when you type something in a form, suggestion box appears, and when you press Enter/Return, the suggested thing appears in the box instead of the form being sent... Annoys sometimes, but more of a bug. On the other hand, I see no other way of disabling that and still being able to use the keyboard to navigate xD

hi here is one coment

I like the awesome bar, but the thing i don't like about it is when it auto fills the web address as you type it's convenient at times but some times when it auto fills the website for you it is usually the wrong website so i have to back space the part where it auto fills.

Agreed

Couldn't agree more. Most of the time, it's not a problem except when I am in a hurry.
