Google released its browser - Chrome
Google recently launched its own browser..
But still i have no idea why would google be doing that.
As Firefox is already funded by Google.
Some say it as part of Anti-Microsoft campaign..Or watever..
Experts have predicted that it may take over Firefox in a few years..
But i guess no one has no Idea.
I used chrome its actually much more simpler..and that could be a drawback.
As we love add-ons and services provided by Firefox ...
Well it's just wait and watch...

Why aren't there any good add-ons for IE as well? I always use FF and I simply love all the applications it has. It's so easy for me to check my website traffic without logging in to Google analytics all he time.
I'm sure that every browser have some plus and minus. Then whose the best one? It's depend i think. Every body has their own perpective.
I think the main reason is that Google wants to have its own brand instead of firefox. But like said Firefox is also funded by Google. I also think in future Google would like to have one main product that will include everythin of their own. In other words you could say that they will provide a full package of all needy tools. This also gives them a good chance to get more data and help their search results. Fun Facts is that Chrome is no better than Firefox to me. I have used Opera and I think it was as good as Firefox even better and faster. Chrome I have yet to use it.
Firefox is very easy to use its the best
I like the two browsers very much. Chrome is simpler but very fast. As for Firefox is very flexible, fast, stable, in few words everything you need The most important feature is the improved security and the plugin ability
Google is trying to become Microsoft on the internet. Can this new browser will compete with firefox and ie. or Google has just trying to find a new way
to
collect internet users information for displaying ads on their browser. recently google is struggling to stop threats that are spread using the google adsense and google adwords. Why Google is not looking into quality why they are trying to enter into so many verticals. some days back their Hosted services goes down
The clear winner is the open source movement. Like Mozilla, Google will publish the code for Chrome, which it released in beta form last week, giving a big push to the open source movement that Mozilla helped foster.
It takes getting used to, while Firefox is easier to use, because you can actually see the menu! It took me five minutes to figure out how to get to the options in Chrome!
chrome is appealing good, but still accept a lot of bugs. ie , i don't know, consistently accept dll absurdity or ocx errors. But some website appropriate these apparatus , and ie is best choice.
being a web developer/designer, i have to use all the major browser for compatibility. For browsing web and developing web pages i use firefox. i can not live without few plugins and addons like developer toolbar, fire FTP, Fire Bug, SEO quake, etc. but simplicity of chrome ( lack of plugins and addons ) makes it load faster. i also do like the most visited sites thumbnails on opening a tab in chrome.
being a firefox fan i would like have an button in firefox to turn of all plugins and adds on at once along with the history thumbs like chrome.
I noticed a trend in free wordpress themes and other website designs, that most designers (especially the newbies) tend to optimize their wp themes for only Firefox. Though I'm a fan of Firefox, and I use it 24/7, I don't think that young web designers should focus only on FF. Btw I agree with you marsian, plugins like the Developer Toolbar, SEO for Firefox, Fire Bug, or Greasemonkey are great addons, and I couldn't "live without them". :)
I agree... Developing some stuff on the web, I find Firefox indispensable. From the developer toolbar, to greasemonkey, to Firebug I totally agree. The only problem is sometimes I fail to test on other browsers, and run into problems. But to me there are no other browsers :)
ı have followed your writing for a long time.really you have given very successful information. In spite of my english trouale, I am trying to read and understand your writing. And ı am following frequently.I hope that you will be with us together with much more scharings. I hope that your success will go on
I use in my work firefox and I can't imagine my work without Firefox. But I didn't try Chrome, so I can't say anything about it. Anyway, Firefox for my project about biological additives it's more usual.
Thank you. I use in my work firefox too.
I still haven't tested the Chrome browser. Firefox has been my favorite, so it never crosses my mind to try out any other browsers.
Tried to use Chrome from Google: seemed a little bit not convenient, unusual. He returned to Firefox, here are more convenient, and habitually, plus you can customize a lot of themselves
it might just consume much of my time.. I'd rather stick to firefox.. Although, I can say that chrome is better and faster than IE based on experience.
Being better than IE doesn't say much in IMHO :)
the improved security and the plugin ability. In the end, doesn't matter which one you use, they both are perfect and fast that is for sure. How both of the browsers will evolve? we just have to wait and see! Thank you,
Chrome is a conspiracy to direct web traffic to suggested sites that is recommended by Google. There is a conspiracy by big Consumer Product Companies to regulate Internet Traffic. When that happens, it will no longer be a free internet and free online community
It's troo that Firefox is quite better than Chrome (and IE for that matter), and it is possible to chrash it just by typing colon and a "special" character in to the "awesomebar" (the URI bar); try typing
:%and return (enter) in Chrome and see what happens… Whan could think about a simpe JavaScript that redirected people to that fake URI, and chrashed Chrome instantly; wich could maybe used to run some malicius code on the machine, maybe? But give it a try — it just started out and is still in beta stage, and after all it is open source so you don't have to run exactly the "official" betas from Google (paranoids can download a verion wich doesn't send info about everything you do, etc). And add–on support and other features will be added in the future — though it will maybe never be as good as Firefox.I using this chrome. It seems to be very fast.I perform my options very quickly.I used chrome its actually much more simpler..and that could be a drawback. As we love add-ons and services provided by Firefox. If this also provided it will be very much useful...Thanks for sharing. regards,

I am surprised so many people liked chrome. I see what HKICR is talking about, it really has come a long when from when it was first started, however it is not even close to being as reliable as Internet Explorer or FireFox. When chrome was first announced, I was very excited. Normally everything google touches "turns to gold" however this, along with their recent youtube adsense idea, seemed to have flopped
I heard the browser CHrome had probs in the starting when using any softwares along with it
I downloaded chrome as one of my browsers but I find it a bit difficult to understand.. Maybe this is because I am just new in using the same... I wont however to bother learning how to make the best out of it since it might just consume much of my time.. I'd rather stick to firefox.. Although, I can say that chrome is better and faster than IE based on experience.. Sorry to say.
There are so many strategy on the business. Can you imagine, Firefox comes with the fascinating plug-ins and Google chrome comes with the simplicity.. Well it's make the other competitor harder to compete them.
Apparently Chrome is increasing it's market share, with some analytic packages suggesting its as large as 3%. I'll never leaver Firefox though, it's the best!
I used to think FF was maybe not that great, but have come to realize by using it, that it is just safer! Have not used chrome yet, and I am a little hesitent to load another browser. Has anyone had really bad results with their pc?
I personally did not get good results when using chrome, certain websites had rendering problems which did not happen in IE or Firefox.
Super! I am really happy, and thankful to chrome developers for their very good product!:)
In most cases, when it comes to competition I think this way anyway I liked it.
I have used crome. Its nice and loads very first.
I have tried chrome this morning, and personally I did not like it at all. A number of sites it could not show properly, although they work fine on all other browsers. One site, ghillie suits plus - came up blank when viewing it in chrome.
I have not used it but heard a lot that it is not so reliable.
I do think that firefox is such a great application. I am using only it and I know that I am safe because it has great software developers.
it doesnt matter for me, I am still using FF. and noone can change my mind about it.
Great Thunderbird Buttons! Patty
Firefox is simply awesome with all the amazing plug-ins
Hı, Thanks your post :)
Actually with all the plugins I prefer firefox at this moment
- Danny,
Comparing the two browsers is a mistake in my opinion. I think Chrome is more simple, but is fast for sure. First time I installed it was a little unstable on my pc, probably because of my pc, but it get better and better daily. I like the two browsers very much. Chrome si simpler dizi izle but very fast. As for the Firefox, I think it is very flexible, fast, stable, in few words everything you need. The most important feature for me, is the improved security and the plugin ability. Hi, my divx cite vbulletin board. Mozilla and ie entegration good. But google chroma entegration not good. why?
I think Chrome is not good enough for me. I want a browser that I can use it with a lot of tabs. Chrome and Firefox slow down with a few tabs. They exhaust my PC. So I have used Opera since 2005. Why does Google develop such browser? Is it hard? I think, no ; but I don't understand the reason of this problem. Also Chrome is like Internet Explorer. For example; it opens some medias (.wma, .wmv) with Windows Media Player. In fact, it is good but some other specification of Chrome make me feel such us I use Internet Explorer. Anyway I love Firefox mucher than Chrome. Widgets of Firefox is great. Sometimes I must use Firefox for this but I am still using Opera in other times. I hope you will find a solution for my and lots of other people problem. I wish success in your works.
I agree with you, I love FireFox, have been hooked since the day it was released.
i use still mozilla, chrome is awful,it has also bugs ,,i dont like its style . Firefox is my lover and i never think about to leave my darling :) Viva firefox, i love its plugins, addons and style. Viva firefox!!!!
Spread firefox ;)
I think google is in vain. mozilla is already indispensable.
Google chrome is jsut a passing phase and will surely subside after a while. Anyone who has tried firefox will never like any other browser ever. It so totally rocks.
