  • Moz Camp EU: Expecting 300 people to attend the conference (200 people invited by Mozilla and 100 people invited by CitiLab the event host)
  • Mozilla Labs EU Innovation Tour: Aza Raskin & Dan Mills will be in Europe from Oct 20-26
    • Oct 20, London - Labs press meeting and a Labs Night at The University of Central London
    • Oct 21-23, Berlin - Labs Hack Days at C-Base
    • Oct 24, Barcelona - Labs Meet at two Barcelona Universities

  • FOSDEM 2009 - starting early meetings with FOSDEM organizers and will call a meeting in the next 2-3 weeks to begin planning

  • Free Culture 2008 International Conference, Oct. 11, Berkeley, CA - John Lilly is keynoting and the Foundation is sponsoring. MoCo provided swag but is checking to see if anything more is needed.
  • ICMC/USP Computer Science Week, Oct. 13, San Carlos, Brazil - Working with Felipe Gomes for a remote presentation by Chofmann on 3:30 on Monday. Mary to follow up with Dan Mills & Myk Melez to see if they can be on hand for any labs questions. Mary to reserve the space downstairs.
  • WhereCamp PDX, Oct. 17 - 19, Portland, OR - Dietrich has requested sponsorship. He will participate and demo Geode. Mozilla to cover breakfast.
  • FSOSS, Oct. 24 - 24, Seneca College, Toronto - Mary to follow up with Dave to find out what else is needed from Mozilla.
  • Phreak, Oct. 21 - 22, Vellore, India -- Chofmann will be in the Paris office so can't do a remote presentation from here. Mary to check if there is video equipment there or if we can find someone else to do it.
  • MexicoWeb 2.0, Nov. 3 - 4, Cancun, Mexico: Julie to check on presentation times for Chofmann. The t-shirt order is under way.
  • Nonprofit Software Development Summit, Nov. 17 - 19, Oakland, CA: Zak has suggested that Mozilla employees and contributors attend. Mary sent a note out about it.
  • FOSS.in, Nov. 25 - 27, Bangalore, India: Prasad Sunkari is interested in a Thunderbird talk. Mary checking with Anant as well.
  • Mozilla Contributor/User meetup, Nov. 29, Victoria, Canada: Julie following up on this.
  • FOSSCamp Dec. 5 - 6: Organized by Ubuntu folks. Mary encouraging Mozilla employees to attend -- it's in Mountain View.
