I'm not really into "cutesy" creatures or stuff like that (such as Pokemon or Digimon, etc.), but Foxkeh really is cute! I say adopt him. And hey, he might spread Firefox to brand new audiences - like little kids! The better to spread, I say. Adopt!

He is lovable but don't let him dominate the site.
Certainly he's cute (and hugable), but he looks rather like a cat. His open arms, winter cap and gloves make him appear quite in need for a warm place (like your hard drive). But this appearance might be a contradiction to the properties comonly attributed to the fox at least in western culture; as smart and to be on evrey trick. But still I think he should be adopted, it could become a kind of mascot like the Linux penguin.
I agree that he does resemble a cat more than a fox unless you know what he's supposed to be. I also agree with most of the people here in the opinion that he should be used in moderation. Is there any way that we could edit him a little? Just to make him a little more "foxy"

I love Foxkeh! He kind of reminds me of a Pokemon character. I think he would be a great addition to Spread Firefox. His image also has great marketability in my opinion, and its really eyecatching...so I think adding him here would be a big plus.

I have no problem with adopting it but I think it should remain a theme and keep the Firefox image we've been working hard at spreading as is. Personally, I think it looks childish and that it would take away the seriousness of the Firefox image. Plus, since I've never been fond of japanese anime art form (all I see is another Pokemon...), I don't get it, for me it's just another fad.
I totally recognize what you're saying. I agree that Foxkeh should be adopted as a tool in the right places not splashed absolutely everywhere.
Part of what gets me so excited to start using Foxkeh though is sort of the inverse of what you've said. For people like you who don't appreciate Foxkeh's style and who respond to the current tone of messages, there are people who are opposite. So just like we'd be missing out on an audience if we switched entirely to using Foxkeh, so far we've been missing out on a different audience that Foxkeh will hopefully help us reach.

Open Source Add-ons are perfect idea for users. I love the Add-ons and its updated versions. The logo design of Firefox is mind blowing, I love the concept as well.
