Firefox 3.5 in 35 Days

Firefox in the Israeli government

A member of the Israeli parliament (The Knesset) named Ilan Gilon sent today a message to the chairman complaining that he wants to use the popular browser Mozilla Firefox in his office computers, in addition to the free media player VLC and Linux, in addition to the lack of wifi in the building.

Firefox mobile greeting cards

Mobile greeting cards can be received by any mobile phone user who has a mobile Internet connection. They work similar to ecards. A user goes to a website, in this case the Mozilla website, picks a card, personalizes it and enters their friend's phone number instead of his or her email address.

This Easter the Ecards Project still plans on creating an Ecard however our lead developer (FuzzyFox) will be taking a step back due to a massive work load at college and other projects which he cannot avoid.
We will shortly be releasing the source for the current Holi Ecard and hope that you will help easy the burden of this next incarnation of the Ecard for Easter.

Mozilla in India starting on Feb. 10th!

Arun Ranganathan and Seth Bindernagel are gearing up for a trip to India to meet with our community and attend what is turning out to be several events.  As you may or may not know - Arun is part of our Evangelism team and focuses on standards and open Web tools, while Seth focuses on localization.
