I've updated my Firefox DOOM party for Firefox 3.6, now with 5 new levels.
Also added two new weapons:
MSIE - pick it up, try to use, it and it blows up in your face taking out you and everyone around you. Just like the real thing!

I create TV commercials for a living. I just made a spot where I show a website directly in the spot. I'd love to see other television producers actively choose to use firefox whenever a webpage is shown in a Television ad.
Its not major advertising, but it's free and can make people who have never seen firefox feel more comfortable with it.

Weird Results Fisher Price Stroller Google Search

I was just looking on Google for a Fisher Price Stroller and got results in Russian language. Can't seem to change it in Firefox but OK in internet explorer.
Any ideas to fix greatly aprpeciated as ie sucks.

well, I work installing programs to home computers and I always hear said to people " the IE is slow" or " I cant open this web page" so I begin to install firefox and tell the people "Sr. use this program and let me know if you dont like it and i will uninstall it " but nobody call me and tell me that they want to uninstall :D!!!

IBM Sets Firefox as Inhouse Default

News I received from IBM employees tell me that IBM is to make Firefox the default inhouse browser by the 2nd quarter of 2010 so as to enhance web productivity of their employees.
It's great news that a big multinational is making the switch. IBM's case can also start a snowball effect as IBM serves the IT needs of many large companies.

NEED desperate help with ADOBE

Out of the clear blue sky my ADOBE would not open any PdF files. I uninstalled ADOBE, took me 3 hours to install it again BUT it still won't open any files. ALL I get is gibberish. HOW do I fix it?
If you can call me, I'd appreciate. I have beeen working on this for hours.

Problems with Firefox

Of late I have been having a lot of problems with Firefox on my main computer. The first time since I started using it in 2004.
It hangs and when I try to restart it after shutting it down I get the message:
"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."

I can tell this with assurance because i worked for a while in the software sector. The few people in my company were ultra-geeks though, and they smuggled in FF.

I just watched the Open Video firefox advert. I heard various european languages and even Urdu and I think Hindi but no Arabic. Also dont black people use Firefox?

Firefox is so cool! You can use foxytunes Adblock Plus (click on a video or picture to block it, Also you can block websites.) Also it has a Remember password feature and it always blocks popups.

Can we have a built in Anti Virus in the browser than having in the computer

My main concern is having a General purpose anti virus and anti spams built inside the browser.
As we know internet is one of the gateway for plenty of virus and spams.., though there is lot of security built in the browser already.., can we think of having a full fledged anti virus within..

Just watched the movie on DVD "Kung Fu Panda", very cool story. One of the characters is a teacher named Master Shifu who looks to be a Fox. After the new points system was put into place, I noticed that I had not received any new points for a couple days. I knew that the system had been changed to count downloads instead of clicks. When entering an inventory item in ProStores, FireFox 3 cannot interact with the "Breif Description" and "Logn Description" fields. The fields are simply inaccessible. Possibly this is because those fields are using some sort of GUI for formatting the text that goes into those particular fields.

I have created the "Firefox Bar". Basically, it's a bar that fades into the top of your browser window if you are not running Firefox. It has a download link for Firefox (sFX in this case), a link to the FFBar site and a close link. I use a cookie to make sure it stays closed for the session. Help needed

Please Help. I have installed firefox 3 after useing FF1 & 2. Along with the install it installed Google toolbar. Now every time I load FF it goes to toolbar.google.com/T4/done.html and sticks. I cannot press stop. It stops responding. I am using IE (shudder) to write this. I have uninstalled, restarted but still nothing. Can someone please help

I've been away for the most part, except for a brief appearance a month back. When I check in today, I see that the worthless ego "points" that I have earned has dropped to 19. Also, I am not subscribed to groups (which explains why the e-mail stopped coming). What's up with this?

I opened FireFox and it auto installed a PDF tool. Closed out and found it reset all defaults including zeroing out my bookmarks....

Can anyone whelp explain what happened?? Is there a restore????

by all means I have always been fan of Firefox since beginning! however recently I found this cool addin works with Firefox 2. (Adblock Plus); by this add in you can actually block all the useless banners/add/images and also you can define you filters!

Will someone explain to me why all the effort to spread Firefox? I don't get it. Internet Explorer is a good browser even though Firefox is better, but it's not useless. And it's way ahead in market share, do we think we're going to topple the giant? IE is free, so that's not the angle. There's money in this for Mozilla somewhere, I know it. Whatever happened to all the groups? There are only a few left. For example I can't find the AccessFirefox group anymore and the Fire up the Fox group I created sometime ago is no longer accessible, even when logged in.

Disabling documents impossible

I have disabled documents in the Community @ SFx forum, but people can still post documents. This must be some bug. I'd ask people to use the "Start a discussion" link rather than the "create document" link. With a document no-one can post a reply, which kind of defeats the purpose of our group.

At this exact moment, I am at a Public Internet access terminal in Sao Paulo - Brazil.
Although I have a computer at home, when I am away, it is interesting to access internet for free. This is a Sao Paulo government project to make internet accessible to all citizens. The system installed here is Linux, and Firefox is offered as one important option of browsers.

I made a project for myself. Took the current download of FFX, wrote a document on why people should use it, some other stuff, and burned it onto CDs. Whenever I sell something on eBay, or bring it up in conversation, I'm ready to pass along a free bonus. I won't get "points" for it, but then, those points don't count for anything, anyway. Anyone else have creative ideas for offering FFX?

Some time ago I started sending messages to the I.T. staff of the Brazilian Government Bank called "Caixa Economica Federal" because their website was not compatible with Firefox. There was a virtual keyboard that could be moved (dragged) only with IE browser, because of a non-standard javascript. I suggested them even code to solve the problem, as I am programmer.

Another tip, better create a discussion rather than a document, since no one can reply/react on a document. Maybe we should disable documents for this group? Opinions on that? Maybe there's a point to documents but for now it looks just like a discussion entry without the possibility to react.

Editing a discussion topic removes it from group homepage

I noticed another annoying bug, when you edit a discussion topic, that topic disappears from the group home page. I have seen it happen twice now. Once I re-created the topic to get it back.

So until this is fixed try not to edit a discussion topic but rather post a reply with your correction.
