Notes from the Oct. 7th Community Marketing Call

- Mozilla Mission Banners: Now available on Spread Firefox. Thanks to Jamey Boje for designing them!
- Mozilla Magazine
- Marco Castelijn, Jamey Boje, Paul Booker and others are working to develop a Mozilla Magazine.
- Focus will be on peer reviewed, editorial content.
- Discussion during call included creating some way to capture news and articles that are submitted that don't make the magazine.
- Please provide Marco any feedback.
- Mary to run this by Deb Richardson & Mark Surman
- Five Years of Firefox (Nov. 9, 2009)
- Otto has set up a discussion area on Spread Firefox to share comments & thoughts.
- Campus Reps: Now 2,000 members strong. Good work!

- Philipine Blog Awards:
- Mozilla is co-sponsoring the Philippine Blog Awards on Oct. 9th in Manila. Gen Kanai will be in attendance is trying to organize a community dinner on Saturday evening in Manila. Please contact him to join!
- Mozilla Meetups in Germany: Tomcat has been hosting these informal gatherings with much success. Check out the 2nd meeting. They are very easy to host -- just find a bar and get the word out!
- Tomcat & Rebron to organize one for Thunderbird in November. Dan Mosedale will be in Munich.
- Tomcat also shared a great blog post of his & article on Open Source in government.
