Firefox Helpers
With more than a hundred million users around the globe, Firefox is no longer a web browser used by just the tech savvy people. While we have seen tremendous efforts from the Mozilla community to provide support for Firefox through the years, these resources have been spread out on different sites and hard for our users to find. Our users are frustrated because there is no one official support channel for Firefox where they can look for help. SUMO (support.mozilla.com) is our attempt to fulfill that need.
So you got a question from a friend with a Firefox problem, and you had to search all over the web to find the solution. When you finally found the web page describing the solution, you realized it was too complicated for your friend to understand, so you ended up going over there and fix it yourself. Does this sound familiar? We could use your help!
When it comes to helping other Firefox users, your help is invaluable. If you're used to write step-by-step instructions for solutions to common problems in Firefox in e.g. support forums, your could help us out by writing an article about the problem in the Knowledge Base. If you know of a good trick in Firefox that you want to share, go ahead and write an article for that too! Feel free to spice it up with screenshots or even screencasts if you feel creative.
If you prefer to respond more directly to people's questions, the soon to be released Firefox support forum is the place for you. If you would like to help people on a more personal level, the Live Chat (not yet available) will be a cool way to do that.
