Is there an anomaly in the data from Lithuania? Their statistics were reported to be comparable, if slightly ahead, of Estonia most of download day. Then suddenly they surged past Germany. Is there a mistake or manipulation, or a logical explanation? Who audits this sort of thing? I know there is some audit mechanism because of the Guinness Book of World Records attempt.

It seems that Firefox 3 has problem with Babylon.
Babylon cannot recognize text correctly. It is using OCR on a picture. Any ideas?

Unfortunately the kind folks at Dohzilla didn't do the responsible thing and make rollbacks readily available after a big update. For those of you wanting to downgrade, it's available via FTP here:

Does anybody have an estimate of the number of record-breaking downloads that didn't happen yesterday because the web team decided to wait until the day of to check if their download links worked?

I have downloaded Firefox 3, and am using the default theme, but it looks nothing like the firefox you have been advertising. E.g. my back button is the same size as my forward button - i thought they were going to change???? Have I set it up right? I am running XP and my specs meet the requirements.

When I click download Firefox 3 the system automaticly selects the Bulgarian version (because I'm from Bulgaria :P ) and then a 404 error appear. Obviously the Bulgarian version hasn't been uploaded to the server.

Hello, since yesterday (June 17) Firefox 3 have 5.622.214  downloads in Baixaki.com.br, that is one of the more expressives
download sites in Brazil. But in the Spreadfirefox status we have only 176.000 downloads. You think to do anything about this?

you know how before, when clicking on the arrow  (far right of address bar), Firefox would show your list of visited sites?

well now it's showing all my bookmarks

Why no Polar region tracking for the download statistics?  Even Chad with its 1 copy downloaded was tracked.

Is there anyone who took the data from

and created realtime statistics of download progress?

Will the data progression be made available to pubblic?

Hey, i just visited download.com where they put firefox 3 as a featured download, and as of this moment, it has registered 13,955,885 downloads! MUCH MORE THAN ON THE OFFICIAL SITE! something has to be done about this!

Most of the firefox downloads done from India are attributed to the US. The reason being, almost all the Software companies in India have a leased line which connects to the US network. Even our IP addresses are mapped to that domain. So, all the FF3 downloads we do today will be accounted as downloads done in the US.

I really wanted to say thanks to the two lonely people in the Republic of Congo who have downloaded thus far.  :D  Your fellow firefox users all over the world thank you.

Apart rom no one knowing when downloads would start, by thetime I received an email, I was aready prepared to give up. Yes I'd put the advertisng banners on my website.
which were quickly deletd, when everyone realised that nothing was happening.
Finally downloaded this long awaited, firefox 3.
Installed and it crashes. Try to send crash report.

Hi There.

Earlier I managed to get Firefox 3 for my Laptop successfully. I just got home and tried to get it for my desktop, but the En-US download page on Mozilla (that I end up on after clicking "download 3" on World Record Page here at Spread Firefox), only shows Fx2.0.0.14 available at the moment. Firefox 3 has been lost from that page!

If the organisation and planning of this day are indicative of the goods to come, then I'd rather pass...

Just wondering do all the plug ins work for Firefox 3, my main concern being does SEO quake work for firefox 3?

When you have sent out emails to most of the world saying that it will be available on the 17th and you can only provide it 17 hours late - don't you think the whole thing is wrong?

You will only get this record now - because no-one else has the record - not the record you could have had though with a bit of organisation!
